Russia-China: Logistics connectivity as the basis for sustainable partnership

Organizer: Transport company FESCO.

The development of Russian-Chinese relations today is based not only on mutual political and economic interest, but also on the practical connectivity of the two countries through sustainable logistics routes. Modern conditions require a transition from point solutions to systemic integration of transport infrastructures, logistics services and regulatory procedures. Railway crossings, sea lines, land corridors - all this forms the architecture on which the stability of bilateral trade, the development of industrial cooperation and export-import sustainability depend. New challenges impose increased requirements on throughput, cargo handling speed and predictability of logistics schemes. The focus is on synchronizing the development of transport hubs, digitalizing logistics processes, unifying customs and phytosanitary procedures, as well as launching joint multimodal projects. All this turns logistics from an auxiliary element of trade into a full-fledged basis for strategic partnership. What solutions are needed to improve the quality of logistics connections between Russia and China? Where are the main growth points today - and what barriers need to be eliminated? What contribution can business and government make to creating a truly sustainable transport architecture between the two countries?
