National Chinese Dragon Boat Festival "Chinese Sabantuy" and Hydrangea Planting Ceremony with Chinese Delegation
Guests of the festival will see spectacular Dragon boat races, attend master classes on making Chinese lanterns, kites, a red envelope for luck and cutting out hieroglyphs from paper, and also learn a few phrases in Chinese. For all comers, introductory sports classes in yoga and SUP surfing will be organized, as well as a food and tea ceremony area. The Dragon Boat Festival is one of the most important festivals in China. It is included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
The idea of organizing the event belongs to the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The ceremonial planting of hydrangeas will be held with the aim of strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between Russia and China. The main goal of the forum is to strengthen intercultural dialogue and friendship between the youth of different countries.
The festival will be a unique platform for exploring China's rich cultural heritage. Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in traditional dance, music and arts and crafts, as well as take part in master classes and thematic lectures that reveal the depths of Chinese culture.
