1) A.S. Popov Technopark
The Innopolis SEZ is a special economic zone of a technical and innovative type, created by decree of the Government of Russia on November 1, 2012 with the aim of developing IT technologies and high-tech industries.
The Innopolis SEZ provides residents with tax benefits, developed international-class infrastructure, and a package of services, as well as support in obtaining grants, participating in government programs, and attracting investments.
To date, 343 high-tech companies are part of the Innopolis SEZ: 142 residents, 54 partners and 147 start-ups. Among them are: Yandex, ICL Group companies, Ozon Tech, IVA Technologies, MyOffice, T-Bank Development Center, Magnit IT Lab, MTS Lab, X5 Group, a subsidiary of Rosatom State Corporation (Atomdata-Innopolis), System Soft (System Electric), etc.
In 2025, the company's revenue amounted to 87.9 billion rubles, investments totaled 311 billion rubles, 21.7 billion rubles of taxes were collected to budgets of all levels during the year, and the number of jobs created reached 12,708.
The Innopolis Special Economic Zone differs from other technical and innovation-type SEZs in that it develops high-tech industries at two bases near Kazan:
• Innopolis Science City (technoparks);
• Laishevo Industrial Park (land with ready-made networks and preferential purchase for construction).

2) Innopolis University
The private Innopolis University, located in the city of Innopolis, trains high-tech managers and conducts scientific research in information technology and robotics. The University has been operating since 2012, applying a unique learning plan for Russia that combines education, science, and business. All classes are taught in English by professors from 24 countries with experience at Google, Microsoft, and Yandex. Around 40% of the curriculum presents practical activities and team projects in AI labs, cybersecurity, and Data Science labs. More than 1,000 students from 40 countries study at the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. 100% employment of graduates, partnerships with over 200 companies. Rating leader: 5th place in the QS Emerging Europe & Central Asia 2025, top 3 in Russia for AI programs. Graduates work at Silicon Valley, Tencent, and Huawei. The university is ranked in the top 500 worldwide for innovation by Times Higher Education.

3) Bashir Rameev IT Park
This is a modern IT quarter designed for the development of digital technologies, startups and IT companies. The platform aggregates residents (more than 140 companies, 3,400+ employees), providing coworking space (108 spaces), startup hub, meeting rooms, networking areas and infrastructure for designing high-tech products. The focus is on ICT, artificial intelligence, digital transformation and the export of IT services. There is also a children's IT Park where children can receive training in programming, robotics, 3D design, website creation and games.

4) ANO “School 21”
A free digital technology school from Sberbank. This is a Russian franchise of the French programming school Ecole 42. The teaching technique is based on the ‘peer-to-peer method”, where participants learn from one another without lectures or instructors. Anyone between the ages of 18 and 30 can enroll, regardless of their previous education and programming skills. Admission is based on an online game and a 26-day intensive selection process involving projects in C, C++, Python, and Java. The program lasts 1.5–3 years and follows a personalized track with gamified levels and missions, focusing on backend, frontend, mobile development, cybersecurity, DevOps, Data Science, and UX/UI. Campuses are located in Kazan, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, and other cities across Russia. The school prepares specialists for the IT market through hands-on experience in real-world projects. More than 600 students have completed internships at PAO “Sberbank”, OOO “Yandex”, AO “Tinkoff Bank”, PAO “Russian Railways”, and PAO “Gazprom”. The first 30 graduates have been employed by Google, Kaspersky, IBM, and Intel.

Agricultural Sector and Food Indusrty

1) OOO “Kazansky Dairy Plant”
OOO “Kazansky Dairy Plant” is one of the largest milk processing enterprises in the Republic of Tatarstan, part of the “KOMOS GROUP”.
The company produces a wide range of products under the brand name "Molochnaya Rechka" — milk, kefir, ryazhenka, katyk, yoghurts, sour cream, cottage cheese, thermostatic products, puddings and ice cream.
The products are certified according to the Halal standard, which allows exporting goods to Asian and CIS countries. The main export destinations are Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Belarus.

2) “Biosphera-Fish” Fish Farm
“Biosphera-Fish” Fish Farm specializes in breeding sturgeon and trout. As part of the project, a modern facility with a closed-circuit water supply system is being built to ensure the production of:
5 million sterlet fry annually to replenish fish stocks in the waters of the Volga-Vyatka basin; 1 million trout fry as planting material; 50 tons of commercial sturgeon fish per year.
In addition, a network of ponds with a total area of 3 hectares has been created on the territory of the complex, designed for the cultivation of pond fish and the development of a tourist and recreational area with the possibility of sport fishing. Currently, a project is being developed for the construction of 3 additional ponds for breeding fish of the carp family.

3) “Mayskiy” Greenhouse Plant
“Mayskiy” Greenhouse Plant located in the Republic of Tatarstan, supplies fresh vegetables to residents of Tatarstan and large industrial cities in Russia. The complex has modern winter greenhouses with a light culture system, the total area of which reaches 35.8 hectares. The company holds a leading position in the country in terms of the yield of vegetables grown in protected soil. Every year, the plant produces a wide range of European varieties of fresh vegetables, supplying over 44.7 thousand tons of products to the market, even in the so-called "dead" season, when its own greenhouse production in Russia is limited. Over the past 5 years, 30 hectares of new greenhouses have been commissioned at the plant, 3 boiler houses with a total thermal capacity of 126 MW have been built, as well as 2 energy centers providing electrical capacity of 67 MW. All production facilities are equipped with modern technologies and equipment, which makes it possible to effectively implement environmental, energy and resource conservation measures.
