The International Forum “Sprouts: Russia and China - Mutually Beneficial Cooperation” (hereinafter - the Forum) is an annual platform for the development of economic cooperation between Russian regions and Chinese provinces.

Date and place: November, 13-15, 2024 at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre,
Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation.

Forum participants:

• Representatives of federal ministries;
• Heads of provincial governments of the People's Republic of China;
• Chairmen of Russian and Chinese companies;
• Heads of constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Planned events:

• More than 70 business sessions in the following areas: industry, business associations, agriculture, interstate dialogue, transport, finances and investments, information technology, etc.
• Russia-China Expo International exhibition, dedicated to trade and economic relations between Russia and China, including an exhibition of more than 30 models of Chinese cars with the possibility of a test drive, as well as an exhibition on machine tool industry;
• Plenary session “Russia and China in the global economic game”;
• A solemn reception with national treats and a concert programme by masters of the arts;
• Tournaments of the Chinese ancient game Weiqi;
• Chinese Film Festival;
• Tennis Tournament;
• Continental Hockey League regular match between Ak Bars and Chinese team Kunlun Red Star;
• “Chinese Tea Ceremony” coffee break.

In accordance with the instruction of the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation D.N. Chernyshenko, an interdepartmental meeting on the organisation of the Forum was held on July 26, 2024 in Moscow at the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, where issues related to the content of the business programme were discussed.
