As part of the III International Forum “SPROUTS: Russia and China – Mutually Beneficial Cooperation,” the International Russia China Expo will take place on August 18–19, 2025. The exhibition will serve as the premier platform for advancing business ties between the two countries. The event will be held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center and will bring together industrial leaders, representatives of the oil and gas sector, the automotive industry, education, science, and culture—creating opportunities for long-term partnerships and stronger economic cooperation.

The exhibition will become a focal point for companies operating in transport and logistics, the agro-industrial complex, and the financial sector. Key objectives include establishing reliable mechanisms for bilateral trade, developing transport infrastructure, and deepening agricultural cooperation. Russia China Expo will serve not only as a showcase for goods and technologies, but also as an effective platform for direct business networking, knowledge exchange, and the launch of joint projects.

A total of 68 exhibitors will participate, including leading enterprises from Russia, China, Turkey, and Kyrgyzstan. The Russian side will feature companies such as Kan Auto, Rosgosstrakh, Nefis Cosmetics, Alabuga Special Economic Zone, and a number of other manufacturers and research centers.

The Chinese side will be represented by Xinjiang Senbo Clothing Co., Shennei Food Co., Xinjiang Tarim Agricultural Reclamation Group, Xinjiang Yiparhan Spice Co., Xinjiang Yilite Industrial, as well as companies in logistics, environmental engineering, oilfield services, home appliances, and the chemical industry.

In addition to corporate exhibition booths, several themed zones will operate throughout the venue:

* Russia China Expo Welcome Zone;
* Russian, Tatar, and Chinese Tea Houses featuring traditional tea tastings;
* Cross-Cultural Zone;
* Mahjong and Go Intellectual Games Zone;
* Meeting rooms for B2B negotiations.

A special highlight at the very center of the exhibition will be the Cross-Cultural Zone, symbolizing the five elements of Chinese philosophy—Earth, Metal, Water, Wood, and Fire. This concept will serve not only as the visual centerpiece of the exhibition space, but also as a reflection of the harmony and balance underpinning Russian–Chinese relations.

“Leaders of Russia and China have set ambitious goals for developing economic relations. The SPROUTS Forum in Tatarstan demonstrates how strategic decisions at the highest level of government can be translated into concrete economic and social results through coordinated efforts by regional authorities and businesses. The SPROUTS Forum includes more than 100 events and 70 business sessions, complemented by the exhibition. Chinese state corporations and major Chinese businesses are represented here with a strong willingness to cooperate across various areas,” said Taliya Minullina, Chief Executive of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

The Directorate of International Programmes is the operator for the preparation and holding of the SPROUTS Forum.
