Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping held talks in video format

They summed up the results of the year and discussed plans to develop partnership between the two countries.

The Russian President noted that Russia and China play a stabilizing role in international affairs, work on a multipolar world order and coordinate actions on global platforms — the UN, SCO, G20 and APEC.

The trade turnover between the two countries grew by 7% over the year, exceeding $220 billion. China remains Russia's main trading partner, Vladimir Putin added.
