Chinese Foreign Minister says relations between Russia and China contribute to global stability.

Relations between Russia and China contribute to world stability and meet the common interests of the two countries. This was stated by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on February 17, speaking at the Munich Security Conference.

Wang Yi stressed that Russia is China's largest neighbor, and the relations between the two countries are based on the principles of non-alignment to blocs and non-confrontation.

Prior to that, on February 8, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping discussed during telephone talks that the trade turnover between Russia and China crossed the $200 billion mark ahead of the target date and amounted to $227.7 billion, a record high.
