A dialogue between Russian and Chinese filmmakers on the development of co-operation in the film industry took place in Beijing. The Russian delegation was led by Andrey Malyshev, Deputy Minister of Culture of Russia.
Russian filmmakers presented more than 10 projects of joint Russian-Chinese film production.
In addition, during this trip to China, the Russian delegation met with Shen Haixiong, Deputy Head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and President of China Media Group (CMG). The Meeting resulted in the agreement to sign a bilateral Action Plan on joint film production of feature, documentary, and animated films to 2030.
The delegation also visited China Film Group, the largest film base in Asia, which further emphasised the active development of Russian-Chinese co-operation in the field of cinematography.
