An agreement of intent was signed during the investment forum in Agryz by Anton Prokopiy, Director of “Bazis Alabuga” LLC, and Xie Weidong, Director of the China‑Russia Centre for Scientific, Technical, Trade and Economic Cooperation “Weilai”.
“In developing relations with China, we have focused on interregional cooperation, so we are actively promoting the potential of Tatarstan’s municipalities for collaboration with Chinese provinces,” said Taliya Minullina, Chief Executive of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and moderator of the forum’s plenary session. “Agryz is among the five largest railway hubs in Russia. Today, logistics plays a decisive role in our work with China. The ‘Belt and Road’ initiative has already proven its effectiveness by enabling direct freight shipments to and from China. This offers tremendous opportunities for investors from the Middle Kingdom!”
