A new cultural symbol - a monument to Confucius - has appeared in Kazan
Today, a monument to Confucius, the great philosopher and sage, was erected in a new public garden near the KFU Nikolay Lobachevsky Library. This monument is not just a decoration of the city, but an important diplomatic gesture emphasizing the strong ties between Russia and China.
The monument, which is 2.5 meters high and made of stone, is dressed in traditional Chinese costume and faces the library building.
The Confucius Institute, which has been operating at KFU since 2007, continues its mission to strengthen Russian-Chinese ties. The installation of the monument is not only a tribute to Confucius' philosophy, but also a step towards attracting the delegation from China to the new location for the upcoming BRICS summit.
