The Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the international automotive exhibition Auto China 2026 in Beijing. The show took place from 24 April to 3 May across two venues in the Chinese capital — the China International Exhibition Center and the Capital International Exhibition Center. The exhibition covered a record-breaking 380,000 square metres, making it the largest automotive show in the world by exhibition space.
More than 1,000 vehicles were presented, including 181 global premieres and 71 concept cars. Participants included leading Chinese manufacturers as well as major international brands. The exhibition featured electric vehicles, hybrids with ranges exceeding 1,000 kilometres, autonomous driving systems, and cars equipped with integrated artificial intelligence.
The Republic of Tatarstan continues to actively develop cooperation with Chinese industrial enterprises in the automotive sector. Priority areas include electric vehicles, hydrogen transport, autonomous driving technologies, and AI-based solutions.
