Air Traffic Between Russia and China is on the Rise

Passenger service between Russia and China is being actively expanded further. Starting 27 April, direct
flights from Irkutsk to Beijing will be conducted as often as three times a week. From 31 March, new
flights from Vladivostok to Beijing will also be available three times a week.

In addition, the flight scale will also be increased this year from Vladivostok to seven Chinese cities:
Beijing, Harbin, Dalian, Xi'an, Yanji, Shanghai, and Sanya. The frequency of flights will be upped
to 50 trips per week. Flights between Vladivostok and Beijing will be performed by 6 airlines at the rate
of up to 5 flights per day.

The development of transport communication between the countries opens up new opportunities for
business, tourism, and cultural exchange. These issues will also serve as one of the topics of discussion
at the International Forum “Russia-China”, which will be held in Kazan from 18 to 19 August 2025 and
will be dedicated to the prospects of co-operation between Russia and China.
