“North-South": China is to launch a new transit route through the port of Vladivostok

Recently, an official delegation from China visited the Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port. The parties discussed cooperation within the framework of development of a new transit service “North-South” on the China-Russia-China route.

In addition, during the visit representatives of business and Chinese authorities assessed the infrastructure and ambitious plans of the enterprise: as soon as in 2025 the port plans to increase cargo turnover from 5 to 8.5 million tons per year. The new routes will strengthen the port's export potential and allow the implementation of long-term projects in logistics and trade.

On November 15, during the Russia-China Forum, participants will discuss topical issues of trade cooperation, as well as prospects for the development of new transport corridors, including the Northern Sea Route and the Silk Road. Join the discussion and register for the sessions via the link.
