The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Russian Federation, Zhang Hanhui, has published an article entitled “Jointly Carrying the Mission of the Era to Open a Brilliant Chapter of Cooperation”* in *Rossiyskaya Gazeta*, dedicated to the relations between the two countries.
As noted by the Ambassador, from January to November 2025, trade turnover between China and Russia amounted to $203.67 billion, exceeding $200 billion for the third consecutive year.
From January to October last year, more than 3,300 new Chinese enterprises were registered in Russia.
“The potential of interregional cooperation has been fully unleashed. The 3rd International Forum ‘SPROUTS: Russia and China – Mutually Beneficial Cooperation’ and other events were successfully held,”* Mr. Zhang Hanhui reminded.
The Ambassador expressed confidence that the visa-free regime introduced by the two countries will further strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of Russia and China.
