Russia will start accepting Chinese tourists without visas: instead of tours there will be groups
Official announcement from the Russian Embassy in China: the Single Electronic Visa will be launched on 1 August and Chinese citizens will be able to apply for it!
"To quickly organise travel in Russia, "e-visas" will start working from August 1. By the same date, we plan to launch the first group visa-free tourist trips with Iran and China. We have exchanged the list of tour operators, all procedures are completed, and from day to day we expect that the first groups will come to us, will give additional tourist flow", - said the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov.
Electronic visa is issued on a special website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for foreign citizens. It is issued by filling in or sending an electronic application form via a mobile application downloaded from the website.
