From June 12 to 15, 2025, the Moscow Seasons Festival, organized with the support of the Moscow Government, was held in Beijing on Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. It demonstrated Russian-Chinese friendship through cultural events and a business programme.
The center-piece of the cultural programme of the first day of the festival was a sold-out concert by the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Pelageya. Residents and guests of the Chinese capital also enjoyed performances by other Russian bands, participated in creative workshops, explored the sights of Moscow in themed pavilions and galleries, tasted domestic sweets and traveled around the Russian capital using augmented reality technologies.
A separate event of the programme was the installation of the Moscow Tea Party stand at the foot of the Great Wall of China as part of a state reception organized by the Russian Embassy in China on June 12 on the occasion of Russia Day. The event participants tasted traditional teas and treats from Moscow confectioners.
On June 13, the conference "Cities of the Future. The Synergy of Strategic Partnership between Moscow and Beijing", dedicated to cooperation between the two capitals in key areas of urban development, was organized as part of the Moscow Seasons business programme.
