Russia and China Plan to Combat Fake News Using AI

In Beijing, the Sixth Media Forum between Russia and China concluded under the theme *“Building a New Future for Russo-Chinese Media Collaboration: Consensus and Action.”* The event was organized by TASS and Xinhua news agencies, with the support of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation and the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

During the forum, Andrey Kondrashov of TASS proposed that Russian and Chinese media collaborate to combat fake news using Artificial Intelligence.

Eleven bilateral cooperation documents were signed following the event. Igor Morgulov, the Russian Ambassador to China, also participated in the forum.
