Chinese Business Delegation Visits the Capital of Tatarstan

From 1 to 3 April 2026, Kazan hosted a business delegation from the People’s Republic of China, organised by the Trade and Economic Section of the Chinese Embassy in Russia. The delegation was headed by Minister Counsellor Liu Jun and accompanied by Consul General of China in Kazan Xiang Bo.

One of the key venues of the visit was the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, where a round table was held. During the session, both sides presented their companies and projects before moving on to focused B2B negotiations.

The delegation also visited the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan. Discussions centred on conditions for attracting Chinese companies to the republic and prospects for cooperation with major industrial enterprises in Tatarstan.

At the conclusion of the programme, the Chinese delegation was invited to attend the IV International Forum “SPROUTS: Russia and China – Mutually Beneficial Cooperation”, which will take place in Kazan in August 2026.
