Tatarstan and China may increase the number of business missions between young entrepreneurs
As part of the 4th International Forum “SPROUTS: Russia and China – Mutually Beneficial Cooperation”, a youth track was held in Kazan, bringing together over 40 young entrepreneurs from Tatarstan and Chinese business representatives. Participants discussed promising areas of cooperation and presented specific requests to potential partners.
The meeting was held as a networking session. Russian and Chinese entrepreneurs presented their activities and outlined areas in which they are interested in working together. These include direct supplies of automobiles and spare car parts, the development of electric vehicle and motorcycle production, and cooperation in construction, agriculture, medicine, IT, artificial intelligence, animation, and publishing.
Azat Kadyrov, Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, noted: “Together with the Academy of Youth Diplomacy and our partners from China, we will organise further interaction and expand the practice of business missions for young entrepreneurs. It is important for us that such meetings lead to specific agreements, joint projects, and new opportunities for Tatarstan’s youth businesses. I am confident that direct communication with our Chinese colleagues will enable the young people to find partners and take their projects to the next level.”
Chinese delegation representative Wu Chao emphasised that the goal of such meetings is to move from an exchange of opinions to concrete projects. Chinese entrepreneurs expressed interest in collaborating with Russian companies in medicine, agriculture, furniture manufacturing, technology, and other areas.
Following the networking session, the youth track included a discussion on “New Generation Business” and a session entitled “Chinese Business, Welcome to Tatarstan!” featuring Tatarstan’s leadership.
Promotional tours of the Idea, IT Park, Khimgrad, and other technology parks will be organised for guests.
This is the third time the youth track has been held as part of the SPROUTS Forum. Following previous meetings, participants have successfully found partners and launched joint projects. This year, business representatives from Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen once again came to Tatarstan to develop business ties. Such events are in line with the goals of the national project “Youth and Children”.

The business programme includes such areas as interstate dialogue, creative economy, medicine, industry, education, business and entrepreneurship, business associations, finance and investment, culture, media, law, transport, agriculture, tourism, and construction.
The SPROUTS Business Forum confirmed its high status by receiving the EFEA Awards and becoming a laureate and finalist of the prestigious International Russian Event Awards.
