Winners of the BRICS and SCO Young Leaders Award Announced in Kazan

The winners of the BRICS and SCO Young Leaders Award were celebrated in the award ceremony forming part of the III International Forum “SPROUTS: Russia and China – Mutually Beneficial Cooperation”. The laureates were selected in five categories: Young Media Influencer of the Year, Social Initiative of the Year, Research and Innovation of the Year, Public Diplomacy Project of the Year, and Eco-Initiative of the Year.

Madinakhon Toshmatova (Uzbekistan) is among the winners. She presented the Smart Bag project.

“I participated with my inclusive education project. We help visually impaired children with their studies. I am very happy that I won in my category. The organizers have given us motivation to further develop the project so that it continues to be useful for society. I have already implemented this project in many special schools. Now I want to expand it to new ones,” noted Madinakhon Toshmatova.

Reza Ghavamipour Koumleh (Iran), a Strategic Advisor and Head of International Business Development at UNESCO Tech Club and Shenasa VC, presented the Garnet Academy Platform.

“I am very happy to attend this event. My project is about helping people develop through an online learning platform, where they can study and work together. It is designed to unite people, allowing them to communicate, find potential collaborations, and work on various projects,” said Reza Ghavamipour Koumleh.

Blogger and influencer Dastanbek Hamdamov (Kyrgyzstan) presented his self-created media platform. “I was impressed with how well the award was organized. My project is called Abadnews, where we share news and important events every day. It aims to provide fast access to reliable information. So far, we only operate in Kyrgyzstan, but we plan to expand to other countries in the future. We also have other projects that help people,” he shared.

The award brings together bright young representatives from BRICS and SCO countries who have contributed to the development of society at an international level. Kazan hosted the award for the third time.
