Chinese Company Plans to Open Ceramic Manufacturing Plant in Tatarstan

A meeting with representatives of a Chinese ceramics manufacturer was held at the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. During the discussion, the company presented a project proposal to invest in and construct a high-quality ceramics manufacturing plant in the republic.

The total investment is estimated at $70 million. The facility is expected to produce ceramic tiles as well as customised ceramic products for household use. The project is anticipated to create between 800 and 1,000 jobs.

Following the meeting, the participants visited industrial parks and Special Economic Zones of Russia in the republic in order to identify a potential site for the future plant.
