The SPROUTS Business Forum is recruiting volunteers

The organisers of the International Forum “SPROUTS: Russia and China – Mutually Beneficial Cooperation” are announcing a call for volunteers. The volunteer recruitment process is being handled by the Academy of Youth Diplomacy. The International Forum will be held on 16-19 August, 2026, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre and will bring together representatives of business, culture, education, and government agencies from both countries.

Last year, more than 250 volunteers participated in organising the event. Their contribution became a vital part of its success.

Volunteers will be helping in various functional areas, including serving as hall administrators, helping at the information desk, ensuring registration and navigation services for participants, assisting the participants as attachés, participating in logistics processes, interacting with the media, and performing other tasks necessary for the successful hosting of the Business Forum.

Candidates over 16 years of age with volunteering experience and based in Kazan during the Forum are invited to participate. Knowledge of Chinese will be a significant advantage for applicants for certain positions. The volunteer selection process includes an online interview, during which the organisers will assess the candidates’ skills and motivation.

Participating in the volunteer programme offers a number of benefits. Each volunteer will be provided with the meals during their work shifts, uniform, and the unique experience of participating in a large-scale international event that strengthens business and cultural ties between Russia and China.

Applications are accepted until 25 July, 2026. You can submit your application by following this link

The organisers note that travel to Kazan and accommodation costs are not covered. Volunteer engagement dates may vary depending on the position; details will be clarified during the selection and scheduling process.

We invite active, responsible, and goal-oriented like-minded individuals to join the “SPROUTS” Business Forum team and contribute to the development of Russian-Chinese cooperation!
