Russia and China sign 15 documents following meeting between Mikhail Mishustin and Li Qiang

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin visited China, where he met with President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping and took part in the 30th regular meeting of the heads of government of the two countries.

Following the meeting, Mikhail Mishustin and Premier of the State Council of the PRC Li Qiang signed 15 agreements, the press service of the Russian Government reports.

The parties have agreed to continue jointly strengthening ties across all areas, deepen the exchange of expertise in innovation, science and high technologies, and to establish an Expert Council for Cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence. They will also work together to help set up a similar global organisation.

The governments have pledged to expand air connectivity, improve bilateral trade, strengthen cooperation within BRICS and the SCO, deepen contacts in the field of space activities, support projects to develop a lunar station, as well as to coordinate a mission to explore the Moon.
