Chinese Company Plans to Localise Production of Digital Panels in Tatarstan

A meeting with a representative of Changchun Cedar Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. was held at the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. The company specialises in the production of interactive boards, including solutions for situation centres, as well as a wide range of electronic products based on semiconductor crystals and smart lighting systems with adjustable colour temperature.

The company’s displays significantly reduce energy consumption, are impact-resistant, do not overheat, and minimise eye strain for operators when working with the screen. The products have been present on the Russian market for more than 15 years, and the company’s screens are already installed at several enterprises in the republic.

The equipment is produced using COB (Chip on Board) technology, which is currently not implemented in Russia. The launch of such a facility would mark the first instance of this type of production being localised in the country.
