PowerChina’s first project in Russia to be the “YarPark” MFC in Kazan

PowerChina, one of the world’s largest construction corporations based in China, will launch its first project in Russia in Kazan: the multifunctional complex “YarPark” on the banks of the Kazanka River.

This was announced by Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of the capital of Tatarstan, during a working visit to the PRC, the city administration’s press service reports.

The complex will be developed with the participation of the investment and development company Kravt Hotels & Homes.

“YarPark” will occupy the area from the Millennium Bridge to the Kazan Family Centre and will consist of 13 buildings with a total area of 302 000 sq.m. Green spaces will account for 28 % of the territory, creating a balanced pedestrian and park infrastructure.

The MFC will include a five‑star hotel; 10 blocks of business‑ and premium‑class apartments; an office centre; a shopping mall with a congress centre, fitness centre, exhibition spaces and restaurants.
