Zakharova: Russia and China are vigorously preparing Xi Jinping's visit to the BRICS summit

Russia and China are vigorously preparing the visit of the Chinese President Xi Jinping to the BRICS summit to be held in Kazan, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova announced at a briefing.

“We will continue to jointly strengthen political dialogue at all levels with an emphasis on the leaders' diplomacy. Now the parties are vigorously working on the preparation of the visit to Russia to participate in the BRICS summit in Kazan in October,” – the diplomat emphasized.

According to Zakharova, Russia and China are focusing on the implementation of joint initiatives in such areas as bilateral trade, transportation, logistics, finance, energy, agriculture, technology and innovations, industrial cooperation, and mineral resources.
