GAZPROM RENEWS RECORD FOR GAS DELIVERIES TO CHINA VIA POWER OF SIBERIA

On the last day of July, Gazprom set a new record for daily gas deliveries through the Power of Siberia pipeline to China, according to the company's Telegram channel.

"On July thirty-first, Russian gas supplies via the Power of Siberia pipeline once again exceeded the daily contractual obligations. "Gazprom delivered all requested volumes and set a new historical record of daily gas deliveries to China," the publication says.

Gazprom specified that the deliveries are under a bilateral long-term contract with the Chinese company CNPC.

Last year Gazprom supplied 15.4 billion cubic meters through the "Power of Siberia", and this year it is planned to supply 22 billion cubic meters. By 2025 the investment project envisages increasing the volume up to 38 billion cubic meters per year.
