Astronomers of the two countries have signed an agreement on the creation of unique ultraviolet telescopes, which are going to be installed on the Moon for constant observation of space.
The first telescope with a 60-centimeter mirror will observe in the ultra-violet, visible and infrared thermal spectrum. The second, wide-angle one, will be able to cover up to a quarter of the celestial space. This will make it possible to study processes in the solar system, gravitational waves, exoplanets and supernovae.
On November 13-15, at the Russia-China Forum, experts from various fields will discuss the scientific and technological partnership between the two countries. Register and join the dialogue.
