Exports of Russian rapeseed oil increased by 44% in revenue terms

According to the General Administration of Customs (GCU) of the People’s Republic of China, during the period from January to May 2026, China purchased about 855 thousand tons of rapeseed oil from Russia for about 985 million US dollars. Imports of rapeseed oil from Russia to China increased by 31% in volume terms and 44% in revenue terms compared to the same period last year. Russia occupies a leading position and is in 1st place in the list of countries exporting rapeseed oil to China. The UAE is in 2nd position according to the volume of supplies, which reached $147 million. Belarus closes the top three with a result of $113 million. Sessions on agriculture will be held as part of the annual International Forum “SPROUTS: Russia and China – Mutually Beneficial Cooperation” this year.
