On 23 June, a meeting was held in New Delhi between the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
The event was held simultaneously with the BRICS National Security Advisers’ Meeting in New Delhi. The international security was the main topic of discussion. Sergei Shoigu also noted that cooperation is strengthening within multilateral formats, particularly within the UN, BRICS, the SCO, the G20, and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).
Goals were set for the further fruitful development of bilateral relations. Furthermore, the Security Council Secretary will hold a series of bilateral meetings with other BRICS countries in the Indian capital.
