During a “government hour” session in the State Duma, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that Russia will actively prepare for the upcoming visit of the country’s head of state, Vladimir Putin, to China.
“The exemplary nature of the comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation between Russia and China was reaffirmed during the recent contact between our leaders via videoconference. The head of the Russian state gratefully accepted the invitation to pay an official visit to China in the first half of this year. We will prepare for it actively and, I hope, productively,” Sergey Lavrov said.
