Tatmedia AO and the Chinese media holding Shanghai United Media Group discussed cooperation in the field of information coverage of the SPROUTS forum.
During the negotiations, emphasis was placed on the prospect of a systemic partnership between the two media structures, covering not only the participation of Chinese journalists in the forum, but also a broader exchange of experience in digital media transformation, multimedia news presentation, and countering fake information.
“The SPROUTS Forum will be held on August 18-19 in Kazan. Cooperation between our countries is largely based on inter-regional cooperation. Our event is just about that. We invite Shanghai United Media Group to cover the forum. Last year, we employed more than 270 media representatives, including many journalists from China. We would really like you to become our partners as well,” said Ildar Mirgalimov, First Deputy Head of Tatmedia AO.
In response, Yang Zan, Vice President of Shanghai United Media Group, confirmed the company's interest in participating.:
"We really hope that we will have the opportunity to join the work of the SPROUTS forum in Kazan. In the context of dynamically developing relations between Russia and China, this event is of particular importance. The strong friendship between our countries was confirmed by the agreement of Russian President Vladimir Putin to take part in the parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory over Fascism, which will be held in Beijing in September," he stressed.
Following the meeting, the companies agreed to continue the dialogue on shaping the agenda of cooperation and joint media projects in the context of deepening Russian-Chinese ties.
